GRiZ Announces Full Schedule for ‘12 Days of GRiZMAS’ Event Series Returning to Detroit for the 6th Year

After a 12-day run of highly anticipated announcements from GRiZ, the Detroit-born artist has officially released his ‘12 Days of GRiZMAS’ schedule for 2019. Returning for the 6th year to locations across Downtown Detroit, GRiZ has programmed 12 days of concerts, activities, and community service for fans and locals to give back to the city that raised him. From December 3-14, GRiZMAS will bring participants from across the nation to enjoy crafts, dodgeball, yoga, and more, all in the name of charity. Funds raised during ‘12 Days’ will directly benefit Seven Mile, a non-profit organization that develops free music, arts and coding programs for Detroit’s inner-city youth. In the last two years alone, GRiZ has raised over $100,000 for Seven Mile, a testament to his altruistic nature and the dedicated support of his fanbase. His unique brand of philanthropy has brought the community of Detroit together for six years running, with small businesses and local staples feeling the positive effects. This year he introduced a new blend of his GRiZMAS coffee in partnership with Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Company, which he will officially launch tomorrow at the Detroit location, with additional bags available online and at Denver’s Crema Coffee House. The event will be free to the public and for the first time, feature a latte art competition that attendees can pay $10 to participate in. All funds raised will benefit Seven Mile. Having grown up in a suburb of Detroit, GRiZ was always drawn to the city’s deep-rooted musical culture from a young age. The creative support network that bred his artistic craft has led him to release six studio albums, tour the world, and become a leading voice in electronic music. Keeping the vision alive in 2019, fans can look forward to yearly favorites and new events including killer crafts & cocktails, roller disco: prom edition, holiday jazz with GRiZ and friends, two nights of sold-out performances at the Masonic Temple and more. The GRiZMAS Workshop at 1301 Broadway will be open across all ‘12 Days’ from 10 AM – 6 PM, offering the community a hub for donation drives, exclusive GRiMZAS merch and holiday cheer.
